Nanotechnology is an interdisciplinary science developed since the 1970s and has found tremendous commercial applications owing to their unique properties. Nanoscale materials are of order 1-100 nm offer extremely advantageous optical, electronic structural properties that characteristic due size-controlled features than bulk materials. Biological methods alternative sources nanoparticle synthesis compared physical chemical techniques. Microorganisms can be used for production different kinds nanoparticles which highly suitable many industrial applications. This review provides overview nanotechnology, with a brief discussion development nanotechnology ancient world highlights biogenic approaches mono- bi-metallic biosynthesis by microorganisms. The mechanisms intracellular extracellular metal microorganisms illustrated. classical microscopic spectroscopic techniques investigating characteristics also described in detail hints practical analysis. Meanwhile, as antimicrobial agents summarized. In conclusion, this includes final outlook field Microbial Nanotechnology.
